| As featured on their Chandos recording 'Romantic
Music for Brass', the Mendelssohn Quartet #1, Opus 12, is a dazzlingly
beautiful, supremely challenging work for brass quintet, as arranged by
Verne Reynolds. Reynolds, hornist with the Cincinnati Symphony and Rochester
Philharmonic, and famed teacher at the Eastman School of Music, arranged
this well-known string work for his own Eastman Brass Quintet. The CCBQ
recorded the arrangement to lead off its critically acclaimed recording
of Romantic music. Now, by special arrangement with Mr. Reynolds, the CCBQ
offers the sheet music to this arrangement for sale. The piece is a full-length
work in four movements, approximately 22 minutes playing time. PLEASE NOTE:
Five parts only (2 trumpets, horn, trombone, tuba); NO score is included
